Type:

full-time We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting for a publicly traded company. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the monthly close process, preparing financial analyses, and partnering with operational teams. The company is on a 9/80 schedule - 4 days onsite M-TH, Friday remote, and every other Friday off. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial and operational information, including inventory, production, and cost-related data. Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Support fixed asset accounting, capital expenditures, and related accounting activities. Prepare and record journal entries as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Support accounts payable activities and help resolve accounting-related issues. Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and responding to inquiries. Prepare financial reports and analysis for management. Contribute to accounting projects, process improvements, and other business initiatives as needed. Provide additional accounting support across the organization as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, public accounting, or audit. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Experience with an ERP or accounting system preferred. CPA or CMA certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
