Senior Tax AccountantLocation:
Edmond, OKCompensation:
$75,000 - $95,000The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our full-service, forward-thinking accounting firm. For over 30 years, we have combined personalized guidance with cutting-edge, cloud-based technology to deliver real-time strategies to businesses and individuals across Oklahoma. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will work directly with clients to cut through the noise of the tax code, streamline their compliance, and deliver long-term financial clarity.
Key ResponsibilitiesTax Preparation & Review:
Prepare and perform initial reviews of complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
Proactive Planning:
Analyze client financial profiles to build real-time tax planning models that minimize liabilities and optimize cash flow.
Tech Integration:
Utilize our modern, cloud-based accounting stack to access and manage client data efficiently, ensuring they stay ahead of changing tax laws.
Client Advisory:
Deliver comprehensive consulting on corporate structuring, financial projections, budgeting, and IRS representation.
Collaborative Accounting:
Work alongside our specialized Client Accounting Services (CAS) team and QuickBooks Pro Advisors to ensure seamless cross-discipline support.
RequirementsExperience:
3+ years of progressive public accounting experience with a heavy emphasis on tax compliance and planning.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA license active or actively pursuing.
Skills:
Strong proficiency with advanced tax preparation software and cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks experience is highly valued).
