Works as a public accountant (prepares financial documents where public disclosure is required by law, such as business balance sheets and tax returns), management accountant (prepares financial information for internal use by a company) or government accountant (maintains records for government agencies).

Headquartered in Eunice, Louisiana, we stock and deliver LCMs, polymers, soaps, lubricants, water-base mud chemicals, drilling mud detergents, rig soap, and degreasers across Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. This position works in our Oklahoma City office alongside the Controller. Warehouse and operations remain based in Eunice, LA. Job type and location Part Time In-person in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — this is not a remote position Responsibilities Receive, apply, and record customer payments Prepare and send AR aging updates to the Controller Prepare and send AP aging updates to the Controller Pay vendor bills through ACH/check batches and maintain supporting documentation Monitor inventory adjustments made by the warehouse Reconcile inventory in the ERP system to the warehouse physical count and investigate variances Prepare and post general ledger entries Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts Invoice customers for individual loads and for multi-load jobs (including tracking loads) Support month-end close and other accounting tasks as assigned by the Controller Qualifications Hands-on accounting experience with AR, AP, cash application, general ledger, and/or inventory Experience working in an ERP or accounting system Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Able to work on-site in the Oklahoma City office alongside the Controller and communicate clearly with the Louisiana warehouse team Must be able to work on-site in Oklahoma City Preferred Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience Experience in oilfield services, distribution, wholesale, or inventory-heavy operations Open invoice experience a plus
