We are on the lookout for a Senior Assurance Associate who's passionate about making a meaningful impact on our clients, our communities, and our team. As a Senior Assurance Associate, you will serve as a senior assurance professional in our Tulsa office , supporting a diverse client base across Northeast Oklahoma and the surrounding region. You'll lead audit engagements through all phases of the assurance process while delivering thoughtful, high‑quality service and mentoring the next generation of professionals. What You'll Do Lead assurance engagements from planning through completion with minimal supervision, serving clients across industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, governmental, nonprofit, financial institutions, and professional services Actively live and model HoganTaylor's core values (HT3) and service standards in your work with clients and teammates Research and analyze financial statement and accounting issues using authoritative guidance and electronic research tools Develop a strong understanding of client operations to assess internal controls and provide practical, value‑added business insights Identify risks, opportunities, and solutions during the planning and execution phases of audits Communicate results clearly and timely with clients and internal teams, building trusted relationships Supervise, coach, and develop staff and interns on engagements, fostering growth and collaboration within the Tulsa team Manage moderately complex engagements, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget Leverage audit technology and paperless tools to promote efficiency and quality Participate in Levels 3, 4, and 5 assurance training and stay current on professional standards Support client development, recruiting, and firm initiatives as needed Maintain independence, integrity, and adherence to firm quality control standards Travel as needed, primarily supporting clients in the Tulsa market and surrounding areas What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university CPA preferred 2-4 years of recent public accounting experience Working knowledge ofGAAS, GAAP
(FASB), OCBOA, and industry‑specific standards Experience with paperless auditing tools; Caseware and McGladrey methodology preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Strong research, analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage priorities while meeting budget and time expectations A strong desire to deliver exceptional client service with the highest level of integrity Why HoganTaylor?
