Established manufacturing company with a stable weekday schedule and a collaborative accounting team About the Role We re looking for a detail-oriented Cash Accountant to take ownership of daily cash activity, bank reconciliations, electronic payments, and cash-related accounting processes for an established manufacturing organization. This is a great opportunity for an accountant who enjoys working with numbers, banking activity, reconciliations, and financial accuracy and wants a role with visibility across the organization. You ll work closely with Accounting, AP, AR, Purchasing, Sales, and banking partners while helping ensure the company s cash position and financial records remain accurate and well controlled. If you re organized, analytical, comfortable working independently, and have experience with cash accounting, treasury functions, or general ledger accounting , this could be a strong fit.Key Responsibilities Cash Management & Banking:
Monitor daily cash balances across company bank accounts and maintain accurate cash position reporting Process and monitor ACH payments, wire transfers, positive pay, and other electronic banking transactions Maintain banking records, account documentation, and authorized signer informationBank Reconciliations & Accounting:
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations , researching and resolving discrepancies Prepare cash-related journal entries and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger Support month-end and year-end close through reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentationCash Forecasting & Financial Planning:
Prepare short-term cash forecasts and assist with longer-term cash flow planning Monitor upcoming receipts and disbursements to help maintain appropriate cash availability Review bank fees and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costsAP/AR Coordination:
Work with Accounts Receivable on cash application and resolution of unapplied cash Coordinate with Accounts Payable regarding payment timing and cash requirements Partner with internal departments to resolve cash-related questions and discrepanciesControls, Compliance & Process Improvement:
Help maintain effective controls over cash receipts, payments, and banking activity Assist with internal and external audit requests related to cash and treasury accounts Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, or automate cash-management processesQualifications Education:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExperience:
3-5 years of accounting experience , preferably with exposure to cash accounting, treasury, or general ledger functions Experience with bank reconciliations and cash management is strongly preferredTechnical Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with an ERP system and online banking platforms is a plusWork Style:
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with other departments Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detailCore Strengths:

The role requires extended periods working at a computer, with occasional movement throughout the office and manufacturing facility.
