The candidate must have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience preparing federal and state individual, trust, estate, and business returns. You must be knowledgeable about the latest legislation and regulations, detail-oriented, comfortable analyzing tax data, interviewing clients, reviewing tax forms for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality and customer service. This role is an in-person tax preparer intended to be present in the office to meet with clients. A This role will be based in our Portland office but may cover tax needs at another office. Successful candidates will possess an active CPA license, a degree in Accounting or Finance, and demonstrated experience providing tax compliance and planning services.
