Salary:
$65,000 About the Role This position offers a versatile and impactful role within a manufacturing environment. As an Accountant, you will handle core financial functions, including month-end close support, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The position balances technical accounting responsibilities with hands-on transactional oversight. Key Responsibilities Perform regular account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist with month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of variance analyses. Coordinate daily accounts payable activities while serving as the primary backup support for accounts receivable operations. Collaborate with department leadership to identify efficiencies and improve daily accounting workflows. Maintain well-organized electronic and physical financial records. Prepare ad hoc financial reports and assist with administrative accounting functions as needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements A solid foundational understanding of accounting principles and general ledger management. Experience supporting month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations. Practical knowledge of full-cycle accounts payable and familiarity with accounts receivable operations. Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams. A proactive, grounded work ethic with a desire to contribute to process improvements. Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software. Timing is everything.
