Accountant

Description Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliations, and supporting reporting needs across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, is process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities + Prepare and maintain journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes + Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance + Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports + Assist with audits and respond to auditor requests + Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls + Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies + Support process improvements and accounting best practices Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field + 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate) + Strong understanding of GAAP + Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred) + Strong attention to detail and time management skills Preferred Qualifications + Public accounting experience + CPA or CPA-track a plus + Industry experience in manufacturing, healthcare, construction, or services + Experience with financial analysis or reporting Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
