Description:
JOB SUMMARY
(Two/Three Lines): This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions, including financial reporting, compliance, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, familiarity with financial software, and an eagerness to develop their skills within a professional environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
(Tasks): Support accounts payable and accounts receivable management processes. Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. Enter journal entries and maintain the general ledger using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or other financial systems. Help with balance sheet reconciliation and financial report writing and interpretation. Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and debits & credits analysis. Handle confidential information with integrity and ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply. Prior experience or coursework in corporate accounting, public accounting, or financial software such as QuickBooks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to perform basic data analysis and financial reporting tasks Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality

OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS
As you will/may be driving a company vehicle or your own vehicle on a regular basis, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record as determined by a driver's license background check is required for this position. All team members must successfully pass a background check (7 years), FBI fingerprint clearance and PA child clearance.
