Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record journal entries, including accruals, allocations, and other adjustments needed to maintain accurate financial statements.
- Review general ledger activity and help keep account balances complete, organized, and properly supported.
- Perform account reconciliations on a recurring basis, identify variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end and period-end close activities by compiling supporting documentation and posting necessary entries.
- Support indirect and corporate tax-related accounting tasks, including sales tax processes and related reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial records and schedules used in corporate tax return support.
- Maintain accounting documentation and ensure records are aligned with internal policies and reporting standards.
