SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Butler, PA $75,000- $90,000 Advance your accounting career with a company that values expertise, collaboration, and professional growth! We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This individual will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Analyze financial results and investigate variances Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting Support internal and external audits Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff Partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial reporting needs Assist with special projects and process improvement efforts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting CPA or CPA track preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar preferred Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment EB-6151325764
