Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate external audit activities, ensuring requests are addressed thoroughly and supporting documentation is prepared on time.
- Manage accounting for revenue-related matters, including recognition practices, rebate programs, and commission-related entries.
- Oversee the integration of general ledger data from third-party payroll and freight sources and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
- Drive monthly close activities by preparing entries, reviewing balances, and helping ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by updating account structures, monitoring activity, and supporting accurate financial reporting.
- Provide oversight for accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to promote accurate processing and proper financial control.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and clear outstanding items in a timely manner.
- Support legal entity audit requirements, internal control reviews, transfer pricing analysis, and documentation of current accounting procedures.
