Key Responsibilities- Senior Accountant Lead the monthly close process, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. The Senior Accountant will maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger across departments, projects, and cost centers. Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, reconciliations, and requested schedules. The Senior Accountant will partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, process improvements, and special projects that support business performance. The Senior Accountant will identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls. Qualifications- Senior Accountant 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles. Experience with monthly close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
