The Fiscal Department plays a critical role in ensuring strong financial stewardship during this period of growth.

Lenape Valley Foundation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join this missiondriven team. In this pivotal role, youll be immersed in the full accounting cycle, help strengthen financial processes that support a growing organization, and serve as a knowledgeable partner within a collaborative and supportive culture.

What You BringBachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters or CPA preferred)3+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance/accountingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office SuitePreferred experience with:

Grants and contracts administration Non-profit and/or healthcare accounting Donor Compliance MIP Fund Accounting softwareAgility and resilience to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while remaining flexible and solution-focusedKeen attention to detailAbility to meet the physical requirements of the role (with or without accommodation)Your RolePrepare and record assets, liability, revenue, and expense entries according to GAAPMaintain the general ledger and reconcile accountsPrepare financial statements including balance sheets and profit & loss reportsReview journal entries and bank reconciliations from junior accountantsManage grants and contracts accountingUpload monthly data from billing to accounting systemsSupport the other accounting team members Update and maintain Standard Operating ProceduresAssist with data gathering and reconciliation for annual auditsAbout Lenape Valley FoundationSince 1958, Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) has been a trusted non-profit provider of essential human services in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
