Job Description

Our client, a well-established private business, is seeking an experienced Accounting & Administrative Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and wants to play an important role in the ongoing success of a successful organization. The company is open to either a full-time or part-time arrangement for the right candidate and values experience, professionalism, dependability, and initiative. What You'll Do Oversee the company's accounting and financial recordkeeping functions Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and financial planning activities Coordinate with external accountants and tax professionals Serve as the primary contact for our outsourced payroll provider, ensuring payroll information is accurate and submitted timely Maintain payroll and employee records Assist with employee onboarding, benefits administration, and other human resources activities as needed Support general office administration and business operations Qualifications Accounting experience is required Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting practices, and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Experience with benefits administration or human resources is a plus Positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed This position offers a flexible full-time or part-time schedule, competitive compensation based on experience as well as a stable and supportive work environment.
