STAFF ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis The Staff Accountant will record journal entries related to prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and capitalization Review and audit accounts payable activity to ensure accurate coding and posting Evaluate invoices and spending to confirm proper expense classification The Staff Accountant will cross-train on accounts receivable cash application processes Maintain familiarity with select customer accounts to support AR continuity The Staff Accountant will support general ledger accuracy and assist with month-end close activities Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data is complete and accurate

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader accounting team EB-1339083458
