Senior Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in the Central PA area. This role will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Key Responsibilities + Manage and assist with the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations + Maintain and review general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness + Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules + Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies + Support audit preparation and work with external auditors as needed + Assist with process improvements and strengthen internal controls + Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams + Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 4+ years of progressive accounting experience + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting + Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) + High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines + CPA or CPA-track is a plus Apply online today!
