ECHO Realty is seeking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day and monthly financial accounting and tasks for assigned complex properties. Contributions you will make to the team: Models ECHO's core values (The ECHO Way) and exhibits exemplary leadership. Prepare monthly financial reports - prepare journal entries, balance sheet and income statement preparation, variance analysis and bank reconciliations. Monitor cash receipts, review and bill tenant recurring and reimbursable charges and billing adjustments and perform tenant ledger reconciliations. Work with Senior Collections Specialist to assist with tenant collections. Review invoice coding and approvals and ensure proper accounting treatment is in place. Prepare CAM reconciliation & invoices. Submit invoices to the tenant within the required timeframe as stated in their leases. Work with CAM Specialist to respond promptly to all CAM inquiries. Assist with annual budget preparation. Review assigned month end financial packages and budgets prepared by staff accountants. Review leases and leasing activity to ensure accurate billing. Recalculate percentage rent and bill according to tenant's lease. Assist in the support of Staff Accountants as needed. Opportunity to participate in mentorship program- as mentor and/or mentee- fostering professional growth and development. Responsible for technical ad hoc projects as assigned. Analyze expenses to ensure accounting treatment in accordance with ECHO's Capitalization Policy. Review Management Fees and monthly rental billings. Recommend enhancements to accounting systems and internal controls. Requirements you'll need to be successful: Bachelor's Degree(B.S./B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from a 4 year college or university. At least 4 years experience preferred. Knowledge of MRI accounting software preferred. CPA or CPA track is preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
