Role Description The Staff Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, including processing accounts payable and receivable. The Staff Accountant will help reconcile bank and account balances, and support job cost tracking and project-related financial reporting specific to construction operations. The role works closely with project managers and leadership to provide timely, accurate financial information and supports continuous improvement of accounting processes. Qualifications Strong foundation in general accounting, including account reconciliations. Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment application, and vendor/customer account management. Solid understanding of GAAP and basic tax concepts, with attention to compliance, documentation, and internal controls. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate with project teams, leadership, and external partners. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus. Prior experience in construction, real estate, or a similar industry is beneficial; familiarity with job costing and WIP reporting is an advantage.
