Staff Accountant I Ellwood National Forge Company United States, Pennsylvania, Irvine Jul 28, 2026 Description Ellwood National Forge (ENF) is seeking a Staff Accountant working in the Accounting Department based in Irvine, PA, however assignments may require travel and support to the Corry/Warren Plants. This non-exempt position will report to Kelly Younger, the Director of Finance and Controller.
RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE
Financial Accounting (general ledger, journal entries, month-end closing, A/R, A/P, etc. Work closely with Director of Finance and Controller to acquire a full understanding of the Company's ledger Post journal entries, analysis, and monthly closing Post and Record Cash receipts Inter-company transaction / reconciliations Account analysis and schedules for internal as well as auditor requirements Reconcile various expense accounts Complete special projects as assigned Provide back up support for other accounting functions Maintain controls to ensure integrity of the computer system Ensure all financial records accurately reflect the financial position of the company Any other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time to support the business needs. regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
S. or B.A. with major in Accounting/Finance Knowledge of GAAP Advanced personal computer literacy, spreadsheet and word processing software Strong verbal and written communications skills Must be proactive, results oriented with a strong desire to succeed Ability to maintain confidentiality
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 -5
