Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team in Kennett Square, PA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who is ready to grow their career in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with month-end activities, and help maintain accurate financial records. This is a full-time, in-office position requiring consistent attendance Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing. Post journal entries and support general ledger maintenance. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other balance sheet accounts. Assist with month-end close activities and reporting. Review, code, and enter invoices accurately. Support payment processing and expense tracking. Help maintain organized accounting records and documentation. Work closely with the accounting team on special projects and other assigned tasks. Use QuickBooks Online daily to support accounting functions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Minimum 1 year of recent professional experience using QuickBooks Online required. 1-3 years of accounting experience required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data entry accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work full-time in office, 5 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with month-end close. Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, or reconciliations. Experience in a multi-location or fast-paced business environment. From $60,000.00 per year
