Project Accountant Join a growing, project-driven organization as a Project Accountant, partnering closely with Accounting, Operations, Program Management, and Contracts to keep project financials accurate, complete, and on time. If you enjoy digging into details, working through complexity, and building cleaner, more scalable processes, this is a great opportunity to make a visible impact while supporting a portfolio of larger-dollar, longer-duration projects. Key Responsibilities / What You'll Do Own project setup and maintenance across project accounting systems (including BigTime)

Keep contract awards, modifications, funding changes, and billing configurations aligned across teams

Track budgets, actuals, labor utilization, remaining funding, and project profitability

Support project revenue recognition (WIP, accrued/unbilled, deferred/unearned) and related entries

Partner with Project Managers to ensure labor, subcontractor, travel, and expenses are coded correctly

Support timely invoicing and identify issues before they impact month-end close

Assist with reconciliations between BigTime, QuickBooks, and related systems

Prepare project-level analysis (budget-to-actual, margin, forecast-to-complete) and support close/audit needs Qualifications / What We're Looking For 5-7+ years of project accounting/project finance experience

Strong Excel skills and comfort working across multiple systems

Solid understanding of project accounting and revenue recognition concepts

Organized, analytical, detail-driven communicator who takes ownership
