Senior Project Accountant | Lancaster, PA | $85K-$90K Growing company hiring a Project Accountant to support multiple ongoing accounting projects. Excellent role to be a true financial partner to Project Managers and Operations teams. Own accounting projects throughout their lifecycle; project setup, funding, contract edits, labor and expense, billing, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and project profitability.Responsibilities:
Senior Project Accountant Partner with Project Managers, Operations, Contracts, and Accounting Review change orders, funding and contracts Track project budgets vs. actuals, remaining funding, labor utilization, and profitability Support revenue recognition, including WIP and accrued revenue Prepare journal entries and reconciliations Support monthly close related to project accounting, revenue, billing, labor Prepare financial analysis and forecasts Support system improvements and implementations Assist with internal and external audit requestsRequired Experience:
Project Senior Accountant 5+ years of relevant project accounting Demonstrated experience managing accounting/financial administration of multiple projects Understanding project accounting, including revenue recognition, WIP, accrued revenue, and project profitability Experience with project setup, billing, invoicing, labor charging, and reconciliations Compensation & Benefits Unlimited PTO 401(k) with 4% company match Health, dental & vision insurance Profit sharing opportunity Continuing educationBenefits
