Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented individual to oversee construction project execution from pre-planning through final completion. This role combines on-site leadership with administrative coordination, requiring someone who can keep schedules on track, maintain quality and safety standards, and build strong working relationships with clients, trade partners, and internal teams. The ideal candidate brings practical construction knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to guide multiple stakeholders toward successful project outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily site operations for renovation, expansion, and ground-up commercial construction work, ensuring activities progress according to project plans and milestones. Coordinate project timelines, workforce activities, and trade sequencing to support efficient delivery and timely completion. Review drawings, shop submissions, and material documentation to confirm alignment with contract documents and installation requirements. Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance to verify workmanship, compliance, and adherence to project expectations. Apply hands-on construction knowledge in both field and office settings, including supporting carpentry-related work when project demands require it. Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety and construction quality by identifying issues early and driving corrective action. Partner with inspectors, code officials, and other local authorities to facilitate required reviews, approvals, and occupancy-related processes. Track project spending and help control cost exposure by addressing field issues, coordinating changes, and minimizing overruns. Communicate clearly with clients, design professionals, vendors, and project teams to resolve conflicts and keep stakeholders informed. Build and sustain productive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to support smooth project execution and long-term collaboration. Experience directing day-to-day operations for commercial construction projects, including renovations, additions, and new construction. Strong ability to organize planning, scheduling, and trade coordination across multiple phases of a project. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and related technical documents. Working knowledge of installation methods, materials, and quality expectations across a range of building trades. Ability to balance office-based project administration with active field leadership on the jobsite. Solid understanding of project safety practices, quality control processes, and inspection readiness. Effective interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to collaborate across clients, design teams, subcontractors, and coworkers. Awareness of project cost management principles and the ability to support efforts that keep work within budget.
