This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong general ledger background who is looking to expand their expertise in inventory and cost accounting. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, inventory analysis, and operational accounting support while partnering closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities - Senior Accountant Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Support inventory accounting processes and help ensure inventory accuracy through analysis and cycle count reviews. Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs, inventory activity, and variances. Assist with product costing, standard costing, and new product introductions. Develop and improve costing processes, documentation, and reporting. Participate in annual budgeting and standard cost processes. Provide financial analysis and operational reporting to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function. Qualifications - Senior Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong general ledger accounting and month-end close experience. Inventory accounting experience strongly preferred. Cost accounting experience is a plus but not required; this role offers the opportunity to develop those skills. Experience with ERP systems such as Deacom, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical abilities. Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team environment.
