Job Description
Job DescriptionJob Description Busy Media, PA CPA Firm has an immediate opening for a senior accountant with a minimum of 5 years of recent accounting experience. This is a full time position with medical benefits and a Simple IRA Plan.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 5 Years recent accounting experience
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Outlook
- Experience with Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax a plus.
- Must be organized
- General knowledge of current tax regulations
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet with clients to gather necessary documentation
- Input data into QuickBooks, when necessary
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Preparation of journal entries
- Preparation of federal, state and local corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate and individual taxes
- Preparation of sales and use tax
- Preparation of payroll taxes
