Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description Busy Media, PA CPA Firm has an immediate opening for a senior accountant with a minimum of 5 years of recent accounting experience. This is a full time position with medical benefits and a Simple IRA Plan.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • 5 Years recent accounting experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Outlook
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax a plus.
  • Must be organized
  • General knowledge of current tax regulations
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet with clients to gather necessary documentation
  • Input data into QuickBooks, when necessary
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Preparation of federal, state and local corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate and individual taxes
  • Preparation of sales and use tax
  • Preparation of payroll taxes
