This role partners closely with plant and operations leadership to deliver accurate cost accounting, financial reporting, and data‑driven insights. The Operations Accountant serves as a trusted business partner with a strong understanding of manufacturing and inventory processes and key cost drivers, while also supporting core accounting activities such as month‑end close, inventory and fixed asset accounting, and other departmental projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee plant‑level financial reporting, including month‑end close, variance analysis, and operational support for our locations. Analyze production costs, inventory, and material usage to support cost control and continuous improvement. Partner with plant and operations leadership to provide financial analysis and decision support. Support standard costing processes, ERP systems, and related financial tools, including fixed asset accounting and inventory counts and reconciliations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Experience working with and supporting manufacturing production Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting/ERP computer systems Effective written and verbal communication skills Access to our facility (and therefore, employment) is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to U.S. Citizens and permanent residents of the United States. Applicants receiving a conditional offer of employment will be required to provide information to determine whether they are subject to these regulations and, if so, to assess their country of chargeability for export control purposes.
