The Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting operations for Boscov's Travel, working across many areas of the accounting field including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations. The right candidate is a self-starter who is proficient in Excel and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities Process and manage accounts receivable, posting electronic payments from clients and vendors, and following up on outstanding balances. Process and manage accounts payable, including verifying invoices, and preparing payments to vendors electronically Support internal and external audits. Help ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures. Other duties as required. Qualifications Associate's degree in accounting or a related field 3+ years of experience in accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-starter who can work independently and manage competing priorities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with accounting software is helpful. Travel agency knowledge helpful.
