Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with strong technical skills and attention to detail to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, small-firm environment and is comfortable handling both tax preparation and general accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S-corporations Perform tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve tax-related issues Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes Perform bank and account reconciliations Maintain and organize client chart of accounts Assist clients with basic bookkeeping and accounting needs Identify opportunities for process improvements and client tax savings
