We're looking for a Senior Cost Accountant who enjoys digging into the details, understanding the story behind the numbers, and partnering with leaders to drive better business decisions. This role is more than month-end close and financial reporting. You'll serve as a key business partner to Operations, Engineering, and Leadership while helping shape the financial performance of the organization.

What You'll DoBusiness Partnership & AnalysisPartner with Operations leadership to analyze business performance and profitabilityIdentify trends, opportunities, and risks impacting margins and operational performanceDevelop reporting and analysis that supports data-driven decision makingHelp prioritize improvement opportunities across the businessCost Accounting & Inventory ManagementMaintain the standard cost systemAnalyze product costs, margins, and inventory valuationSupport cycle counts and annual physical inventoryManage inventory reconciliations and excess/obsolete reserve calculationsFinancial Reporting & ControlsPrepare and review monthly financial statementsComplete balance sheet reconciliationsSupport audits and compliance requirementsMaintain strong internal controls and financial disciplineLeadership & Continuous ImprovementPartner with leaders across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teamsSupport capital investment analysis and justification reviewsDrive alignment toward business and financial goalsHelp improve processes, reporting, and overall business performanceWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is equally comfortable working in spreadsheets, on the production floor, and in conversations with business leaders.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferredMinimum of 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experienceMinimum of 4 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to research and apply accounting guidance appropriatelyExperience with standard costing, inventory accounting, product costing, and financial analysisOracle experience strongly preferred; experience with large-scale ERP systems requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insightsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organizationAbility to build strong partnerships across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Commercial, and Leadership teamsStrong business acumen with an understanding of manufacturing operations and profitability driversHigh level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracyWhy You'll Like This RoleOpportunity to serve as a key business partner to Operations and LeadershipDirect influence on decisions that impact profitability and business performanceExposure to manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborative environment where your insights help drive resultsOpportunity to work closely with leaders across multiple functionsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageWork EnvironmentThis position primarily works in an office environment but will regularly interact with manufacturing operations. The role may require periodic visits to production areas to support inventory activities, operational analysis, process improvement initiatives, and collaboration with manufacturing teams.

The noise level in office areas is generally moderate. Appropriate personal protective equipment will be required when entering production areas.
