Job Description
Overview Our established CPA firm is seeking a detail‑driven payroll processor to support our expanding client base. In this role, you'll manage end‑to‑end payroll for a variety of small and mid‑sized businesses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service. Duties Process payroll using systems Quickbooks desktop and Quickbooks Online Manage benefits administration, including deductions, tax withholdings, and retirement contributions Enter and review journal entries related to payroll transactions in accounting software like QuickBooks Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by preparing and submitting required reports Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar financial management tools Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; experience with 10 key typing is preferred Experience in accounts payable/receivable processes within a payroll context is advantageousThis role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to contribute their technical expertise in a fast-paced environment.
