Private Equity Fund Accountant Location:
King of Prussia, PA (On-Site)
Compensation:
Up to $90,000 Base Salary +

Full-Time About the Opportunity A growing private investment firm is seeking a Private Equity Fund Accountant to join its Finance and Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in private equity fund accounting, financial reporting, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in building a long-term career within the alternative investment industry while working alongside experienced finance and investment professionals. Key Responsibilities Support all aspects of private equity fund accounting, investor reporting, and financial operations Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly investor statements and annual audited financial statements Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Monitor fund cash activity, capital calls, distributions, and account balances Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of financial reports and investor communications Research and resolve accounting and reporting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders Assist with regulatory compliance initiatives, including policy reviews, testing, monitoring, and SEC-related reporting requirements Support special projects, process improvements, and other initiatives as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-3 years of accounting, audit, fund accounting, public accounting, or financial services experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Interest in private equity, investment management, or financial markets Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $80,000, depending on experience Annual performance bonus Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage #

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
