Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions. Your expertise in accounting software, financial analysis, and regulatory standards will drive accurate reporting and efficient financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization committed to transparency, accuracy, and excellence in financial management. Duties Prepare and analyze journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using QuickBooks. Weekly deposits and payments. Credit card processing of customer orders. Perform month-end closing activities including account analysis, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance using QuickBooks. Utilize Excel data analysis skills for budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Answering phones as needed. Experience Proven accounting experience with a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and financial concepts. Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, journal entries, balance sheet management, and general ledger maintenance. Strong numeracy skills coupled with excellent attention to detail for data entry and account analysis tasks. Experience working within public accounting firms or in roles involving technical accounting or complex financial reporting is advantageous. Bachelors degree is preferred. Pay:

$58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
