As a Consulting Accountant, your duties will include: 1. Providing tax preparation services for clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. 2. Assisting clients with audit support, including preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and resolving audit issues. 3. Engaging with clients to understand their financial needs and providing tailored solutions to meet these needs. 4. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and excellent customer service. 5. Analyzing financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement. 6. Collaborating with the internal team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. 7. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to provide the best possible service to clients. Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry. 3. Strong knowledge of tax preparation, audit procedures, and client engagement strategies. 4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide practical solutions. 5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong client relationships. 6. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. A strong commitment to ethical standards and a high level of integrity. 8. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
