Senior Financial Accountant / Nonprofit Accountant - REMOTE
CONTRACT
Step into a high-impact accounting opportunity supporting a well-established educational organization during a critical transition period. Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional who can jump in quickly, manage month-end responsibilities independently, and help bring structure and accuracy to key financial processes. - $30-40/hr
- 4-6 week contract assignment What You'll Be Doing
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations including AP, cash, receivables, and investments
- Support month-end close activities and assist with catch-up accounting work
- Enter and maintain accounting data within Blackbaud and ERP systems
- Ensure accurate integration between Blackbaud, Financial Edge, and Raiser's Edge systems
- Assist with restricted and unrestricted fund accounting activities
- Create and maintain accounting process documentation
- Partner with leadership to improve accounting workflow accuracy and efficiency What You'll Need to be Considered
- 4+ years of strong hands-on month-end close and general ledger experience
- Experience managing reconciliations independently
- Blackbaud experience
REQUIRED
- Experience with restricted and unrestricted fund accounting
REQUIRED
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
