Full Job Description AR Accountant Location:
West Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid Schedule)

Temporary-to-Hire About the Company Our client is a growing retail company headquartered in West Los Angeles. They are seeking a detail-oriented AR Accountant to join their accounting team on a temp-to-hire basis. This position will be responsible for accounts receivable operations, general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience in a product-based or retail environment, and familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts receivable functions including billing, cash applications, collections, and account maintenance. Prepare and post journal entries related to AR, revenue, accruals, and other general ledger activity. Maintain and reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger. Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances. Partner with sales, customer service, and operations teams to resolve billing and payment issues. Assist with revenue reporting and analysis. Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits. Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department. Support ad hoc accounting and financial reporting projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on accounts receivable. Experience with general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation is required. Strong account reconciliation experience. Retail, consumer products, apparel, wholesale, or ecommerce industry experience preferred. Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Schedule Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent conversion. Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). Convenient West Los Angeles location.

Pay Details:
