What You'll Be Doing Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support financial operations Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and/or QuickBooks What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-5+ years of accounting or finance experience (internships welcome for entry-level roles) Experience with AP, AR, or general ledger accounting Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and on a team What's in It for You Opportunities with reputable companies across Richmond (Innsbrook, West End, Downtown, and surrounding areas) Mix of direct hire and contract-to-hire roles Competitive compensation (typically $22-$35/hr or $50K-$75K+ , depending on experience) Career growth, mentorship, and exposure to larger, structured environments Why Work With LHH With deep roots in the Richmond market, we specialize in connecting accounting and finance professionals with companies where they can grow and thrive. Pay Details:
