quality system. Our current accounting and ERP system is Quantum Control . American Turbo Systems is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the accounting and financial functions of our aerospace manufacturing and repair operations. This is a hands-on accounting position that works closely with management and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with general accounting, job costing, inventory accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. Hands-on experience using Quantum Control is required for this position. This position may be performed remotely within the United States. Candidates must be available during normal American Turbo Systems business hours in Arizona. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. Prepare and review financial reports. Manage accounts receivable and customer collections. Manage accounts payable and vendor payments. Process payroll and maintain payroll-related records. Maintain job-costing records for manufacturing, repair, and overhaul work orders. Review labor, material, outside processing, and other costs charged to jobs. Maintain and reconcile inventory-related accounting records. Assist with inventory valuation and investigate inventory discrepancies. Calculate and maintain overhead and burden rates. Support accounting requirements related to government contracts and progress payments. Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules. Maintain equipment lease records. Support banking, financing, and cash-management activities. Assist with federal, state, payroll, and other tax-related reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Assist with audits and preparation of supporting documentation. Support payroll, benefits, and general HR-related administrative functions as needed. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies. Maintain accurate supporting records and documentation. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience required. Hands-on Quantum Control ERP experience required. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting. Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Experience with payroll processing. Experience with job costing and inventory accounting preferred. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Windows-based applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work during normal Arizona business hours.
