Job Description Senior Accountant (Contract)

Duration:
Through December 2026 We are partnering with a manufacturing company seeking an interim Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing across a variety of accounting functions. Key Responsibilities Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support. Assist with intercompany accounting transactions and related reconciliations. Reconcile cash activity and support cash forecasting processes. Prepare monthly interest accrual reporting and debt-related accounting schedules. Respond to external audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed. Perform financial and variance analysis, researching discrepancies and reconciling differences. Support process improvement initiatives and accounting-related projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting. Experience with intercompany accounting preferred. Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with ERP systems (OneStream or Hyperion experience is a plus!) Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
Compensation :
$36 - $40/hr. (based on experience)
