Job DescriptionMake an Impact Through Insightful Financial Reporting & AnalysisWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Consultant II to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting complex accounting processes, and ensuring the integrity of financial results across multiple entities.

This is more than a traditional accounting role-you'll gain broad exposure across business units and finance functions, work on dynamic, high-impact projects, and develop a deeper understanding of how financial statements interconnect across a complex organization.

What You'll DoAs an Accounting Consultant II, you will own and execute critical day-to-day accounting and reporting activities, while also contributing to process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.

Core ResponsibilitiesPrepare and support financial statements (GAAP and statutory), including related schedules and disclosuresPerform financial consolidations, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany transactionsMaintain and analyze general ledger activity, ensuring transactions are recorded appropriatelyPrepare journal entries, account analyses, and variance explanations to support the monthly closeExecute and review account reconciliations, including those involving complex accounting processesValidate system functionality and ensure accounting rules and processes operate correctlyAnalyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insightsCollaborate cross-functionally with multiple finance teams and business unitsContribute to and lead process improvement and transformation initiatives What You BringRequiredCPA or CPA-eligible (actively pursuing or completed educational requirements)Experience with financial reporting and general ledger accountingStrong understanding of how financial statements are constructed and interrelatedKnowledge of accounting principles and transaction flowsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesPreferred2+ years of relevant accounting experienceConsolidations experience in a multi-entity environmentExperience working in a complex or large-scale organizationWhy Join This Team?
