The KGC Approach Our Mission To deliver certainty of mind to clean energy innovators leading the charge in transforming our world. As our clients continue to grow in size and complexity, so do we. KGC manages approximately 500 entities across the renewable energy and data center industries, including some of the largest solar and battery facilities in the world. We perform monthly closes and issue financial statements for all client entities by the 10th business day of each month. Beyond the monthly close process, our teams support acquisitions, debt and equity raises, derivatives, hybrid financial instruments, VIE analysis, international operations, and other complex technical accounting matters under
U.S. GAAP.
Key Responsibilities Each client is supported by a dedicated Client Service Team. As a Senior Consultant, you will take ownership of a portfolio of entities while partnering closely with clients, stakeholders, and teammates to deliver accurate and timely financial information.
Key responsibilities include:
Recording, analyzing, and reviewing complex accounting and operational transactions Leading month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules Managing complex consolidations within ERP systems, including Microsoft Business Central Collaborating with client personnel and operational teams to gather and validate financial information Supporting international operations, including foreign currency translation and related accounting requirements Ensuring financial information is accurate, complete, and audit-ready Meeting critical deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce risk Mentoring and supporting junior team members as needed What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by technical excellence, client service, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Desired Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of recent audit experience with a Big Four or national accounting firm, or equivalent corporate accounting experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong technology aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Business Central is a plus Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment KGC Benefits KGC is committed to supporting employee growth, well-being, and work-life balance.
