Job Description

Summary of Job Description:
The Associate Payroll Accountant position is responsible for entering, verifying, and maintaining payroll information for assigned Regions. This position processes bi-weekly payrolls and prepares daily, weekly, and bi-weekly federal and state tax data for transmission to ADP.
Job Responsibilities:
Processes daily, weekly, and bi-weekly payroll for assigned Regions and complete payroll cycle. Ensures garnishment orders are properly handled. Uploads vacation hours to Payroll system , and processes safety shoe payments from employees. Enters, verifies, and maintains payroll information for assigned Regions. Provides customer service, communicating with General Managers regarding payroll time card issues. Handles incoming calls from stores in assigned Region related to payroll issues. Reconciles and prepares federal and state tax data for transmission to ADP. Prepares journal entries for payroll tax liabilities for posting to the General Ledger System. Handles and resolves agency inquiries. May assist Supervisor in training other Payroll associates. Reconciles balance sheet accounts as assigned.

  • Benefits available for eligible permanent full time associates Your background & experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with coursework in Accounting required Minimum one year of related experience in a retail/hospitality environment If hired, successful completion of annual store training Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
Pay Range:
P1 $28-$35/ Hour
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
