Job DescriptionJob Description Holt Communications, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Finance Coordinator (Staff Accountant) to take ownership of invoicing, payroll, and financial coordination. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, accountability, and confidence in our financial operations. Responsibilities Review and validate employee and subcontractor timesheets Review and organize project-related expenses Manage invoice deadlines and billing cycles Run reports and compile data for client invoice preparation Draft, review, and finalize client invoices (project-based billing) Enter invoices and expenses into QuickBooks Online Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Process employee payroll and reimbursements Ensure alignment with contracts, budgets, and billing requirements Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Qualifications 3-5 years of accounting, billing, or financial coordination experience Strong experience with QuickBooks Online Experience with project-based or timesheet-based billing Proficiency in Excel High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage deadlines and work independently Preferred Qualifications Experience with government or infrastructure-related contracts Experience in a professional services or consulting firm Familiarity with payroll systems Benefits Hybrid/remote work environment Opportunity to take ownership of financial operations Collaborative, mission-driven team
