The Revenue Accountant owns Accounts Receivable and cash application for Alchemy's North American region end-to-end, including the accurate and timely application of customer cash receipts and invoicing. This position plays a critical role in maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring financial accuracy, internal controls, and process efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and enjoys improving processes through automation and technology. This individual should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with sales, operations, and finance teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own end-to-end Accounts Receivable and cash application for the North America region — including managing the AR inbox and ensuring remittance details and customer inquiries are responded to promptly.
- Process high-volume cash application accurately within NetSuite, matching payments to open sales orders and invoices across a large number of transactions and significant dollar value daily.
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, short-pays, and payment discrepancies with customers and internal departments.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and credit memos as required.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on past-due balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts and respond to customer inquiries regarding balances and payment application.
- Maintain accurate customer master data, including billing and payment terms.
- Partner with Sales and Collections to resolve disputes and support timely cash collection.
- Prepare and process customer refunds and credit adjustments as needed.
- Maintain organized electronic AR documentation and support audit requests.
- Assist with month-end close by preparing AR reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual AR and cash application processes using NetSuite, Excel, and other technology tools.
- Build and maintain Excel reports to improve visibility into AR metrics, including DSO, aging, and cash application backlog.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to continuously improve AR processes.
- Support additional accounting projects as assigned.

YOU HAVE
Education & Experience :
- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable and Order-to-Cash experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience with NetSuite ERP or other enterprise ERP environments.
- Experience with cash application, matching high-volume customer receipts to invoices at significant dollar value.
- Experience with month-end close processes, including AR reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of internal controls surrounding Accounts Receivable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to interact directly with customers.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while remaining highly responsive.
- Some experience with revenue coding and application is helpful, but not required.
