Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive accounting expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and strategic financial planning. Your proactive approach and strong analytical skills will contribute to the organization's growth and financial integrity. Duties Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements Conduct detailed audits, ensuring compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and internal policies Manage tax planning, preparation, and filing processes, including experience with tax accounting and estate/Trust planning strategies Perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records Analyze financial data to support mergers & acquisitions, investment decisions, and asset management initiatives Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other financial tools for bookkeeping, payroll processing, and financial report writing Support non-profit accounting functions and regulatory reporting requirements as needed Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and interpretation of financial reports to inform strategic decision-making Conduct audits of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other key financial transactions to ensure accuracy Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required with proven experience in public accounting or corporate finance Strong knowledge of
