Responsibilities:
Provides status updates to manager/partner proactively. Completes client projects with appropriate guidance and support. Communicate clearly, accurately, and proactively. Learn from mistakes and ask questions promptly. Posting and processing A/R, A/P and Payroll transactions. Periodic bank, A/R, A/P, and other balance sheet account reconciliations. Create and maintain depreciation and amortization schedules, debt amortization schedules, and other supporting schedules. Perform the interim and year-end closing process. Perform payroll and sales tax services including required filing. Prepare basic financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, & Cash Flow Statement).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or 4-5 years' relevant accounting experience. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Technologically proficient - QBO experience a plus
