This role partners closely with operations and leadership to deliver actionable cost insights and drive continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities of the
Cost Accountant:
Own full-cycle standard costing for manufacturing operations, including setup, maintenance, and analysis Analyze and report manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) on a weekly basis and lead process improvements related to cost controls Oversee inventory accounting, including reconciliations, purchase price variance (PPV) tracking, and related journal entries Partner cross-functionally with operations and management to translate cost and variance data into actionable insights Support month-end close activities related to inventory, cost accounting, and plant operations Ensure accuracy and compliance in cost and inventory reporting within a manufacturing ERP environment Preferred Qualifications of the
