Month-End:
Reconcile INV Batch, INV in transit (BTP JE), download and prepare WIP Accrual JE and INV usage tax JE. Download, analyze INV receipts report and prepare Material OH Reclass. Variance Scrap Reclass and Expire items scrap reclass to E&O. Monitor weekly fluctuations and activity regarding inventory transactions and COGS variances. Analyze Freight in/out, material usage for warranty and outside service charges. Work with Operations to review usage adjustment, and timely disposition. Track and reconcile units used for evaluations, outside vendor and prepare quarterly E&O review. Prepare and analyze manufacturing department expenses for monthly reviews. Monitor inventory transactions, analyze inventory reports, and review standard costs. Work extensively with manufacturing personnel in order to control/analyze standard costs for materials, labor and overhead. Work with manufacturing to collect data for materials, labor and overhead. Establish, input and control financial inventory flow and standard reevaluations. Manage inventory tracking, inventory control and direct labor cost and absorption analysis. Comply with all policies and standards. Any other job responsibilities as assigned by management and subject to modification. Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting, Finance or related field required 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance including 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with Standard Cost experience required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously and manage multiple deadlines Excellent follow-through and meticulous eye for detail Strong team player willing to share responsibility to accomplish goals Computer skills, including Excel, are required. Great Plains/Dynamics preferred, but not required Preferred Languages English- Advanced Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
