Job Description

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for proactively monitoring and forecasting project budgets while supporting Project Managers in financial decision-making. This role involves structuring financial tracking methods for a new portfolio to ensure long-term scalability. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Manager under team supervision, designing mechanisms to effectively track project progress and ensure compliance with client requirements. A team player and self-starter with a background in financial management, accounting, or project management is ideal for this position. Responsibilities Perform monthly project forecasting of costs based on project status. Update multiple databases with resource assignments, work orders, purchase orders, schedule adjustments, project records, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with various stakeholders. Create and monitor work orders, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices. Develop a scalable structure to track project financials as the portfolio expands. Ensure project financial health and compliance with escalation and limit policies. Attend project meetings with the Project Manager to take meeting minutes and provide cost analyst support as needed. Create and provide financial analysis reports to support project discussions and progress. Essential Skills Experience in forecasting, reporting, accounting, and budgeting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Strong project coordination skills. Understanding of cost analysis and cost accounting. background in telecommunications or construction industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate's degree. Willingness to learn new systems and financial policies. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
