Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Hybrid (Ocala, FL Area) | Full-Time | $35-$45/hr | Benefits Available Asset Allies Tax LLC is a mission-driven accounting and advisory firm specializing in healthcare and ABA therapy providers nationwide. We're seeking a highly experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to lead tax strategy, compliance, and high-level advisory services for our growing client base.
Please note:
This is not a trainee or entry-level role. Candidates must meet at least 80% of the listed qualifications to be considered. This is a hybrid position. While most work can be done remotely, we are only considering applicants located in or near Ocala, Florida for in-person collaboration and the potential transition to an office-based structure. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review complex S-Corp and partnership tax returns Deliver proactive tax planning and long-term strategy to healthcare clients Research and implement available tax credits for therapy-based businesses Ensure compliance with multi-state tax laws and filing requirements Mentor junior staff and conduct quality reviews of their work Manage client relationships and provide strategic consultation Stay current on industry-specific tax developments and credit opportunities Support business growth through process improvement and client expansion
Requirements Must-Have Qualifications:
Active CPA license (Florida preferred, other states considered) Minimum 5 years of business tax preparation experience Accounts Receivable (AR) proficiency Experience with S-Corp and partnership tax filings Knowledge of multi-state tax compliance or ability to research Strong analytical skills and professional communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in healthcare, ABA therapy, or related industries Experience using ProConnect or similar tax software Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Canopy Ability to work independently and thrive in a small, fast-paced team
Position Details Type:
Semi Full-time Compensation:
$35.00 to $45.00 per hour, based on experience

Hybrid (Remote with occasional in-person collaboration in Ocala, FL)
